In most of my childhood, Dad would take all of us to "the man thrift store". I don't know why I never thought of going there to look at tools for hubby but I didn't. Well we went today and scored. We got well over $200 worth of tools for $65. The owner of this store is a friend of my dad;s. He buys product from businesses that are shutting down (much like a liquidator) and resells it. He has really good prices. We got just about everything hubby needed right now for that amount. Hooray!
Then we at lunch at Sonic and went to Sears for some tools that we didn't find at "the man thrift store". Ended up spend $8 at Sears. Not bad at all! Then it was off to the dig n save outlet again. I ended up scoring for me this time. Hubby was uncomfortable in there so we didn't stay too long but ended up getting another "Abby CaDabby". Abby CaDabby is a spotted leopard that my oldest got as a baby. I do not know where she got her or how but Abby has been my oldests best friend. Abby is getting kinda worn out from getting drug everywhere so we lucked out today finding a very similar Abby CaDabby or Abby DaDabbdy as the youngest calls her. We found the youngest a train that makes noise. It is just the engine but the youngest was thrilled. Toys and miscellanous items are 35 cents a pound at the dig n save. Hubby actually had fun in that part. He did not have fun in the clothing part at all. So we ended up spending $9.55 there and got 4 toys and the following stuff in the pictures.

American Girl shorts, play shirt, Xhilartion top and more soft pants for K. The pink camo pants are Levis. Rodney LOVES the girls in pink camo so we had to get them.

yep all these clothes and 4 toys for $9.55...including tax. Sweet deal!
